For your August market report, here are the latest statistics from last July in King County, Snohomish County, and Pierce County and how they compare to July 2018.

King County:

  • There were 5,725 active listings—an increase of 11.9%

  • There were 3,280 closed sales—an increase of 0.58%

  • The median sales price in King County as a whole dropped 0.64% to $625,000

  • The median sales price in Seattle dropped 4.69% to $700,000

  • The median sales price on the east side rose 2.2% to $850,000

  • The average days on market in Seattle was 29 days—a 61.1% increase

  • The average days on market on the east side was 34 days—a 100% increase

  • The median sales price for condos in Seattle dropped 12.35% to $450,000

Snohomish County:

  • There were 2,164 active listings—an increase of 6.29%

  • There were 1,376 closed sales—a decrease of 2.06%

  • The median sales price rose 3.23% to $480,000

  • The average days on market was 25 days—a 47.1% increase

Pierce County:

  • There were 2,107 active listings—a decrease of 12.68%

  • There were 1,591 closed sales—a decrease of 0.87%

  • The median sales price rose 6.18% to $370,000

  • The average days on market was 23 days—a 4.5% increase
